Blessed Beltane!

Shakespeare's Birth and Deathday

Shakespeare's Birth and Deathday

Celebrated in the Northern Hemisphere on 1 May, between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice (or 1 November in the Southern Hemisphere), Beltane signifies the beginning of summer to many people, religious, and spiritual groups. Bonfires, one of the most crucial components of the festivities, bring health, good luck, and cleansing. A summary does the beauty of this time of new growth no justice, so I urge you to visit the Wikipedia page on Beltane, or the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids to learn more.
